  • Video needs new incentives. Due to intrusive ads, low viewer engagement, and low publisher revenue there is little value exchange between publishers and viewers.
  • Publishers and audiences are struggling to monetize. Audiences are increasingly blocking ads while YouTube and Facebook are taking larger shares of revenue. 2 million publishers with 110B monthly views do not produce enough revenues to thrive.
  • Lack of trust and transparency. Much of the value exchange isn′t visible to users and personal data is sold without user knowledge.

Why other solutions have not worked and will not scale

  • Publisher Problem
    Video Sharing Platforms and Browsers try to change the publisher’s workflow. Large publishers are locked into their current video platforms or have built-in IP and wont move.
  • Publisher Solution
    Verasity is now integrated by SDK with Twitch, Vimeo, JWPlayer, Brightcove, Kaltura and Video.js. Through these integrations the Verasity player technology can already be used by over 1.6M video publishers with 1.1B users and 110B monthly views. A number of publishers have already integrated the technology live and 100 are planned over the next two months with scaling to thousands in 2021.
  • Viewers Problem
    Difficult to change Viewers’ habits and preferences. This is nearly impossible given the resources and choices provided by the giants.
    A good example of this is the largest YouTuber, PewDiePie, who moved to DLive exclusively.
    In spite of the move he still has 95M followers on YouTube and only 0.25% or 250,000 moved to DLive.
  • Viewers Solution
    By integrating into the current video platforms, viewers don′t have to do anything.
    They don′t have to switch to another platform, download anything or change their viewing habits or preferences.
    Moving viewers away from their favorite platforms is a challenge that has not scaled for any of the many video sharing platforms.
    Since we launched recently with publishers, tens of thousands of viewers across the world have used the service and have been rewarded.
